Key Responsibilities
- Guide families through end-of-life planning by educating them about Earth's services through virtual meetings, phone consultations, online resources, and follow-up communications.
- Build expertise in both pre-need and at-need arrangements, understanding and navigating the emotional sensitivities unique to each scenario.
- Manage a high-volume sales pipeline, including 60-100+ calls per day, accurate CRM documentation, and supportive follow-up with families.
- Obtain Funeral Director cross-licensing in additional strategic states for Earth and complete life insurance licensing during onboarding. Earth provides funding and support for all required licensing.
- Work a consistent schedule (typically Monday-Friday, 8am–5pm) with rotating evening, weekend, and holiday coverage to maintain our commitment to exceptional family experience seven days a week.
Requirements
- Licensed Funeral Director in Ohio
- Willingness to obtain a Ohio life insurance license during onboarding (company-sponsored)
- 3+ years of pre-need sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and effectively managing a sales pipeline.
- Highly self-motivated and able to thrive in an independent, remote work environment.
- Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot or Salesforce preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and guide families through sensitive conversations.
- Comfort using modern workplace technology, including CRM systems, VOIP, Slack, and AI productivity tools.
- Availability to participate in rotating evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet home office.

- $80,000 On-Target Earnings (OTE)
