Dynamical is seeking an experienced AI & Cybersecurity Compliance Consultant to join our advisory practice. This role focuses on helping organizations navigate the complex intersection of artificial intelligence adoption and regulatory compliance frameworks. You will provide expert guidance on implementing AI security controls while ensuring adherence to industry standards including NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), ISO/IEC 42001, SOC 2, and other relevant compliance requirements. As a trusted advisor, you will work directly with clients to develop risk-based approaches that enable secure AI innovation while meeting regulatory obligations.

Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance Framework Implementation: Lead assessments and implementation of NIST AI RMF, NIST CSF 2.0, ISO/IEC 42001, SOC 2, HIPAA, and industry-specific compliance frameworks for AI systems
  • AI Security Advisory: Provide strategic guidance on securing AI/ML pipelines, model governance, data privacy controls, and adversarial threat mitigation
  • Risk Assessment & Gap Analysis: Conduct comprehensive security and compliance assessments of AI implementations, identifying control gaps and developing remediation roadmaps
  • Policy & Documentation Development: Create AI governance policies, compliance documentation, security standards, and control frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements
  • Client Engagement: Serve as primary technical advisor for client engagements, translating complex compliance requirements into actionable security controls
  • Control Design & Validation: Design, implement, and validate technical and administrative security controls for AI systems in accordance with compliance frameworks
  • Audit Support: Support clients through compliance audits, assessments, and certifications (SOC 2, ISO, FedRAMP, etc.)
  • Thought Leadership: Stay current on emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST standards, Executive Orders), security threats, and compliance best practices


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, risk management, or security consulting
  • Proven expertise with one or more compliance frameworks: NIST AI RMF, NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27701/42001, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or FedRAMP
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML security concepts including model security, data governance, adversarial attacks, and secure MLOps practices
  • Experience conducting security assessments, gap analyses, and developing remediation plans
  • Demonstrated ability to create compliance documentation, policies, and security control frameworks
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with cloud security and AI platform security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Self-directed with proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CCSP, or similar
  • Experience with AI governance platforms and security tools
  • Background in regulated industries (healthcare, financial services, government)
  • Familiarity with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps practices
  • Experience with GRC tools and compliance management platforms

Salary

$85,000 - $105,000 per year
