Description

We’re a growing local dumpster rental company seeking a dependable Class B CDL Swing Driver. You’ll deliver and pick up dumpsters, cover routes when other drivers are off, and help keep equipment clean and ready for work.


All trucks have automatic transmissions, and most routes are within one hour of Orlando. This position offers 30–50 hours per week with an opportunity to transition into a full-time driving role.


Duties

  • Safely deliver, pick up, and transport roll-off dumpsters.
  • Empty containers at local disposal facilities.
  • Cover routes for drivers who are off or call out.
  • Perform pre-trip safety inspections and report equipment issues.
  • Communicate with customers about dumpster placement and pickup.
  • Use a smartphone for dispatch updates, photos, and delivery confirmations.
  • Manually tarp containers as needed.
  • Wash trucks, monitor tire pressure, and assist with basic maintenance.

Requirements

  • Valid Class B CDL with no air-brake restriction.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
  • Pass a company-paid pre-employment DOT drug test and participate in random DOT drug testing.
  • Punctual, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
  • Able to work outdoors in varying weather and perform physical tasks, including tarping and occasional heavy lifting.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • No smoking or vaping in company trucks.

Desired Skills

  • Hook-lift or roll-off truck experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic truck maintenance knowledge.
  • Attention to detail and safe driving habits.

Schedule

  • Wednesday–Saturday to start.
  • Start time of 6:30 AM, occasionally earlier based on workload.
  • Typically 8–12-hour shifts and 30–50 hours per week.
  • Scheduled workdays may change based on business needs.
