We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property maintenance and be capable of performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' properties are well-maintained and safe for tenants.
Description
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rental properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
- Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Perform make-ready work to prepare units for new tenants, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and building regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with property management and other team members to address maintenance needs.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
