Compensation and Benefits:

• $21 per hour
• Tuition discounts

• $50 towards a wetsuit

Requirements for Swim Instructors:

• No previous swim instruction experience necessary; we provide comprehensive training
• Proficient swimmer necessary, with knowledge of all four strokes preferred
• Passion for working with children and witnessing their progress. Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Must be comfortable working with students who have special needs or learning difficulties
• Positive attitude and a commitment to having fun at work
• Year-round availability (not a summer job)
• Ability to work weekend mornings and weekday afternoons. MUST be able to work at least one day on the weekends.
• Reliable transportation to various locations in our area
• Provide references; reference checks required prior to employment

As a swim instructor you will:

• Teach students of all ages following the British Swim School aquatics program
• Develop and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Assist students in overcoming challenges and building confidence in the water
• Participate in regular training and professional development to improve teaching techniques and stay up-to-date on the latest swimming best practices

Current West Seattle Location Hours:

Sunday 8:45am-1:15pm

Monday 4:15pm-7pm

Tuesday 9:45am-1:30pm

Tuesday 3:45pm-7pm

Wednesday 3:45pm-7pm

Thursday 3:45pm-7pm.

Additional hours available at our Burien Location on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
