The Admissions and Outreach Coordinator leads the day-to-day coordination of the Mary’s Home admissions process, from initial inquiry and application review through screening, interviews, documentation, intake, and move-in. The coordinator serves as a consistent point of contact for applicants and keeps the Admissions Team informed through accurate records, clear communication, and timely follow-up. The position also leads assigned outreach activities that increase awareness of Mary’s Home, strengthen referral pathways, and build useful relationships with community partners.

Mary’s Home, a program of Dream Centers, opened in 2015. Mary’s Home is a faith-based supportive housing program that provides single mother families with the opportunity to gain holistic health and sufficient career resources so as to live a stable and successful life.

REPORTING AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

The Admissions and Outreach Coordinator reports to the Mary’s Home Program Director and

works closely with the Family Advocates, Property Manager, peer interviewers, and other

program staff. The position also collaborates with referral partners, social workers, case

managers, mental health and counseling providers, childcare providers, prior programs, and other organizations connected to applicants and Mary’s Home priorities.


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

● Manage, document and maintain each applicant’s admissions timeline, including phone screenings, first and second interviews, mental health assessment, peer interview, intake, and move -in.

● Review applicant information and interview notes to determine eligibility.

● Make final admission decisions in accordance with established Mary’s Home eligibility criteria,

policies, and program expectations.

● Maintain regular communication with the Mary’s Home Team regarding applicant progress, concerns, and changes throughout the admissions process.

● Gather, organize, and maintain all documentation required for program participation, with timely collection of income and eligibility documentation as a priority.

● Communicate consistently with applicants by phone, text, and email, guiding them through each step of the admissions process.

● Maintain accurate applicant, referral, and admissions data in designated tracking systems.

● Compile and regularly report admissions activity, trends, outcomes, and relevant data to the Program Director.

● Develop and maintain professional relationships with referral partners, social workers, case managers, counseling agencies, childcare providers, and other community organizations supporting the admissions process.

● Develop and strengthen strategic community partnerships that increase awareness of Mary’s Home and support strong referral pathways.

● Coordinate and facilitate monthly Mary’s Home tours for community partners and other designated groups.

● Represent Mary’s Home at assigned community outreach events, resource tables, meetings, and networking events.

● Identify new outreach and partnership opportunities that support Mary’s Home admissions and broader program priorities.

● Provide task supervision and oversight to Mary’s Home interns assigned to support admissions and outreach activities.

● Review and draft admissions policies and procedures. Provide updates to the Program Director as needed to support effective and consistent admissions practices.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

● Personal relationship with Jesus Christ

● High interpersonal communication skills required

● High level skills of assessment, intuition, and providing supportive challenge

● High level of critical thinking required

● Detail-oriented and follow through required

● Leadership ability and experience preferred

● Experience in social work, case management, administration and management preferred


WORKING CONDITIONS

● Flexible schedule, based on admissions needs: 32-35hrs a week

● Work can be both remote and in-person

● Work environment is fast-paced and dynamic
