We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, with the ability to handle various tasks related to both high and low voltage systems. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment, as well as a thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform electrical work effectively.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
• Work on high voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including maintenance person services, to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to electrical work.

Requirements

• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience as an electrician.
• Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in various settings.
• Knowledge of both high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations.
