Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about patient care. This role is essential in ensuring smooth clinic operations and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints
• Assist physicians during exams and procedures
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and basic lab work
• Manage patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times
• Handle EMR documentation (experience with Athenahealth preferred)
• Support front desk when needed (check-in/check-out, scheduling follow-ups)
• Ensure all patients leave with:
• Scheduled follow-ups
• Labs ordered (if applicable)
• Clear care instructions
• 
  

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification preferred (not required with experience)
• Strong clinical skills (phlebotomy and injections required)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
• Positive attitude and team-player mindset
