**Job Overview:**

DownEast Smile Company, LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients and promoting good oral health practices.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventative care and progression of periodontal disease.

- Take digital x-rays and photographs

- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans

-Contribute to scheduling recalls and keep schedule filled

**Requirements:**

- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license

- Current CPR certification (or plans to renew ASAP)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

**Salary Range:**

$42 to $55 per hour
