You'll help assist our dentists’ decisions on the best treatment for teeth or gum disease. You should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies.

DENTAL ASSISTANT

We are continuing to grow our team and create the ultimate dream team!

We are looking for an outgoing and hardworking Dental Assistant who will make our office more efficient and upbeat for our awesome patients and current dental team. Our office likes to have fun together and make the most of our days, while providing the highest quality of care. We offer plenty of different services for our patients including: implant cases, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, etc.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare patients for treatment or checkups ensuring their comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to Idaho regulations
  • Assist the dentists through procedures
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental room sterilized and well-stocked
  • Maintain accurate charts on each patient and charting existing restorations.
  • Walk out patients to front office and hand off for next appointment.


SKILLS:

  • High school diploma
  • 1 year of Dental Assisting.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Good computer skills. (EagleSoft experience is a plus!)
  • Skills to perform regulated non-surgical tasks such as coronal polishing and teeth whitening.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of
  • professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and people skills

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 Depending on Experience
