Key Responsibilities:

• Expert Retention
• Expert Scheduling
• Tracking and Requesting Discovery Extensions
• Filings of All Law & Motion (MSJ, MSA, MTC, MIL, etc.)
• Release of All Claims
• 1987’s to Defendants
• Reservation of Hearing Dates
• Prepare Subpoena Objection for Records / Depos
• Advising Experts of Case Resolution
• Preparing Stipulation to Cont. Trial
• Preparing of DME - Response / Objection / Opposition
• Organize Team meetings (setting up and partaking)
• Send Experts any and all material for review, including their own transcripts
• File Complaints
• Tracking SOLs
• Noticing Depositions / Subp. for Depos.
• CMC Statements / Initial Trial Setting Conference Statement

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

-Minimum 3+ years of experience in litigation

-Minimum of 2 years college or upper-level education unless your experience exceeds 5 years

-Must be adept in Office365, CA Code of Civil Procedure and Local Rules, and CRM/CMS

-Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required

-Experience with e-filing in state/federal courts

This is NOT an entry-level position. This job has no pre-litigation work so please do not respond if your only experience is discovery, pre-lit or research as a paralegal. You must be punctual, detail oriented, organized, excellent in time management and interested in your career.
