Dordick Law Corporation, a plaintiffs' civil litigation law firm, is seeking a Records Manager to implement our evidence preservation and records management system. The primary responsibility of the position will be to process and retain firm evidence and records consistent with internal policies, statutory requirements, and State Bar regulations. This is a fully onsite position; remote and hybrid options are not available for this position.
The Records Manager will be responsible for processing and organizing a variety of evidence and case-related documents, and for the proper handling, care, storage, preservation, and tracking of the same. The Records Manager will learn and use various software to organize and preserve electronic records, create and maintain physical files and systems, and complete other routine processes with the goal of making all evidence and records accessible, organized, and ready for others to work with.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise discretion, stay organized among competing priorities, and communicate clearly and effectively with staff and external stakeholders. This position will oversee the work of filing assistants.
