We are an estate planning law firm seeking a professional and organized estate planning attorney. Our practice is dedicated to providing exceptional service to families during important life transitions, and we need someone who can handle both estate planning and trust, estate, and probate administration for our growing practice area. Compensation is in the form of a base plus bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive potential new client consultations
• Evaluate client needs
• Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with potential new clients
• Document family relationships, asset inventories, and specific administration concerns
• Coordinate with managing attorney for complex cases
• Identify and flag urgent matters
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents in support of firm attorneys
• Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations and ethical guidelines

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Either an active license to practice law in Virginia, Maryland, or DC or scheduled to take the bar (VA licensure strongly preferred)
• A passion for estate planning
• An eagerness to learn
• A desire to be a part of a great team

Compensation is in the form of a base plus bonus based on billable hours.
