We are an expanding, niche estate planning firm headquartered in Northern Virginia. We support clients across Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia with tailored estate planning services, and we manage probate matters statewide in Virginia.

About Us

We are an estate planning law firm dedicated to providing exceptional service to families during important life transitions. We need an attorney who can run client consultations, build relationships, and carry estate planning and trust-based matters through to completion. Compensation is base salary plus commission. We are passionate about estate planning and you should be too!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive potential new client consultations
• Evaluate client needs and recommend the right plan
• Convert consultations into signed engagements and carry matters to completion
• Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with potential new clients
• Document family relationships, asset inventories, and specific planning concerns
• Coordinate with managing attorney on complex cases
• Identify and flag urgent matters
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents in support of firm attorneys
• Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations and ethical guidelines

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice in Virginia (Maryland, DC, or other are a plus)
• Abilitty to work in person at our Woodbridge, VA office on a regular basis
• Strong consultative and client-facing skills; comfortable converting consultations into engagements
• A passion for estate planning
• An eagerness to learn
• A desire to be a part of a great team
