Job Responsibilities:
- Support the social/emotional and behavioral needs of children/adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to teach appropriate communication, socialization and independent skills.
- Collect, organize, and summarize objective data on patient progress with treatment goals.
- Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training.
- Implement programming according to protocols established by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow Registered Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, families, and additional team members to support the needs of the client.
- Must be available 2:00pm -6:00pm
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be a BACB credential Registered Behavior Technician.
- Must be willing and able to travel to clients/families for sessions.
- Adhere to Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) code of Ethics. http://bacb.com/ethics/.
- Attend trainings and maintain effective knowledge of identified qualifications/competencies.
- Assimilating and carrying out direction from supervising behavior analyst for therapy and data collection.
- Providing effective behavior evidence-based treatments.
- Collecting unbiased and accurate data during therapy sessions.
- Proactively communicating with supervising behavior analyst and administrative staff for questions and feedback.
- Ability to work in a team and to share responsibilities and duties.
- Compensation will be based on experience and skill set.
