Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and mission-aligned Web Experience Intern to join our cross-functional team. This intern will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our website, supporting user interface improvements, and building new tools and features that improve the digital patient journey—from first click to follow-up care.

You’ll collaborate with our marketing and engineering teams to create a seamless, accessible, and inclusive digital experience. You’ll also help implement AI-driven enhancements that increase engagement, streamline workflows, and reflect our values of culturally responsive care.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and optimize our website for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness
  • Collaborate on UX/UI improvements to enhance clarity, ease of use, and visual appeal
  • Develop and update provider profiles and patient onboarding pathways
  • Implement user-centered design changes based on analytics and user feedback
  • Work with our marketing team to support campaigns, landing pages, and engagement tools
  • Contribute to the development of AI-powered features (e.g., smart search, chatbot enhancements)
  • Ensure brand consistency across the patient-facing digital ecosystem

What We’re Looking For

  • Senior undergraduate or graduate student in Web Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, UX/UI, or a related program
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design
  • Familiarity with web builders (e.g., WordPress, Webflow) and design tools (Figma, Adobe XD)
  • Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Interest in health equity, inclusive design, and human-centered digital products
  • Experience with AI/automation tools or API integration is a plus

What You’ll Gain

  • Real-world experience designing for impact in a mission-driven health tech company
  • Mentorship from experienced marketers, product managers, and engineers
  • A portfolio of work that supports digital health equity
  • A professional reference and letter of recommendation upon successful completion
  • Priority consideration for future paid roles at Diverse Health
