Diverse Health is a rapidly growing, mission-driven, multi-state healthcare organization delivering virtual primary care and psychiatric medication management. We partner with employers, health plans, healthcare organizations, universities, nonprofits, and community organizations to improve access to high-quality, culturally responsive care.

We’re seeking an exceptional executive to serve as our Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development.

This is not a traditional sales role.

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial healthcare executive with an established network who can identify opportunities, build executive relationships, design innovative partnership models, negotiate agreements, and help bring those partnerships to life.

You’ll work directly with the Founder & CEO to accelerate the national growth of Diverse Health.


Your Mission

Develop and execute strategic partnerships that expand Diverse Health’s reach, improve healthcare access, and generate sustainable revenue.

You will own the partnership process from initial strategy through successful launch.


What You’ll Do

Strategic Business Development

Identify new partnership opportunities that align with Diverse Health’s mission and long-term growth strategy.

Develop and execute a national partnership strategy.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-value partnership opportunities.

Represent Diverse Health at conferences, networking events, and executive meetings.

Develop relationships that create recurring revenue and long-term strategic value.


Executive Relationship Management

Cultivate executive-level relationships with:

• Employers and Human Resources leaders

• Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)

• Medicare Advantage Plans

• Commercial Health Plans

• Hospital and Health System executives

• Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)

• Independent Physician Associations (IPAs)

• Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs)

• Universities and Colleges

• Nursing Schools

• Community Colleges

• Nonprofit Organizations

• Faith-Based Organizations

• Community-Based Organizations

Partnership Strategy & Development

Lead discovery conversations to understand prospective partners’ goals, challenges, and opportunities.

Work alongside the Founder & CEO to develop customized partnership models that create measurable value for both organizations.

Design innovative partnership structures, referral programs, employer health solutions, population health initiatives, and community collaborations.

Develop business cases, proposals, presentations, and implementation strategies.

Collaborate with internal leadership to ensure partnerships are operationally feasible and scalable.


Negotiation & Deal Execution

Lead negotiations from initial conversations through signed agreements.

Coordinate legal, operational, clinical, credentialing, and implementation stakeholders.

Navigate complex healthcare organizations and multiple decision-makers.

Ensure seamless transitions from signed agreement to successful launch.

Maintain executive relationships after implementation to expand existing partnerships and identify new opportunities.


Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who has already built meaningful relationships throughout the healthcare ecosystem.

Preferred qualifications include:

• 7+ years of healthcare business development, strategic partnerships, provider relations, healthcare consulting, or executive leadership

• Demonstrated success developing and closing complex B2B healthcare partnerships

• Existing relationships with executive decision-makers across healthcare

• Experience negotiating partnership agreements and multi-stakeholder collaborations

• Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, payer contracting, provider operations, and value-based care

• Experience working with health systems, employers, health plans, universities, or community organizations

• Outstanding communication, presentation, and executive relationship-building skills

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with executive leadership

Compensation

This is a performance-based, commission-only executive opportunity with uncapped earning potential.

Compensation is tied directly to successfully executed partnerships and the recurring revenue generated through those relationships.
