Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking Software Engineer and Product Development Engineer Interns to help design and develop our proprietary digital tools, including a Salesforce-integrated CRM system, a patient-provider web platform, and a user-centered mobile application. You will work collaboratively to strategize, plan, and implement technical solutions with a focus on accessibility, cultural sensitivity, and innovation.

Position 1: Software Engineer Intern

Position 2: Product Development Engineer Intern

Key Responsibilities

CRM & Workflow Integration (Salesforce-Focused)

• Support development of a custom Salesforce CRM tailored to patient journeys and care delivery
• Build automations and dashboards for provider and care coordination workflows
• Integrate CRM with internal operations and communication systems

Web and Mobile Platform Development

• Participate in designing a secure and accessible patient-provider platform
• Collaborate with internal teams to define platform requirements and roadmap
• Develop key features that address accessibility and culturally responsive care
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and data security across front- and back-end infrastructure
• Explore third-party API integrations for scheduling, referrals, insurance, and labs

Platform Differentiators May Include

• Culturally inclusive health assessments and digital literacy tools
• AI-assisted navigation and personalized content
• Peer support features and health education channels

What We’re Looking For

• Current undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related field
• Familiar with Salesforce, React, Firebase, or equivalent frameworks
• Strong interest in building tech solutions for equitable healthcare access
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance or FHIR protocols is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a mission-driven environment
