The Mechanic II minimum 1-2 years of experience required. Responsible for supporting the lead mechanic and reports to the Shop Manager. Looking for someone who has a demonstrated ability to take charge and manage their time as well as multiple projects—it’s important that jobs get done quickly and accurately to meet customer needs. Being a self-starter with a passion for mechanics and extensive technical knowledge, as well as a collaborative team player who will foster learning in Class C technicians and an overall positive atmosphere in the department by performing preventative maintenance tasks such as lube and filter changes, bulb replacements, air filter replacements, tire rotations, and tire repairs as needed. The Mechanic II may also be required to assist in other automotive service areas as necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Diagnosing vehicle issues
• Performing routine services and minor to intermediate repairs or commercial vans
• Completing repair orders
• Test driving vehicles
• Record and document repairs
• Other tasks as assigned

Salary Range Commensurate with experience. Pay may be Flat Rate which is based upon jobs successfully completed.
