Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and ambitious Tax Intern to join our dynamic team. This position offers an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in tax consulting and financial services under the mentorship of our experienced tax professionals.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation of individual and business tax returns.
2. Conduct basic tax research and planning.
3. Work closely with team members to prepare tax-related documents and reports.
4. Analyze financial statements and tax-related data to identify tax planning opportunities.
5. Maintain and update client files in accordance with our firm's guidelines and tax laws.
6. Assist with client communications, answering queries, and providing tax-related information as required.
7. Participate in internal team meetings and training sessions.
8. Gain familiarity with tax software and systems used in the preparation of tax returns.
9. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including maintaining client confidentiality.
10. Perform administrative tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields.
2. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. High level of attention to detail and ability to multitask.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
7. Must demonstrate a high level of integrity, and a desire to learn.
