The Operations Manager controls various business operations and implements the company’s strategic initiatives.

Description

The Operations Manager controls various business operations and implements the company’s strategic initiatives. They oversee the sales goals and results and financial reports, create strategic goals and direct staff toward achieving the company’s vision and mission. The Operations Manager handles most of the internal affairs of the company and usually has extensive experience with designing operating strategies and building teams to achieve these goals. They also create reports to inform the Chief Executive Officer and other stakeholders of the company’s performance.


Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or similar field
  2. Must possess excellent Communication skills
  3. Must have empathy and respect in communication
  4. At least 5 years’ experience in client service management
  5. Knowledge of the tax and accounting industry is a plus
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel and Google Suite
  7. Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  8. Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
  9. Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
  10. Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issue
  11. Must have a solid work-ethic and work independently
  12. Ability to work well with a team

The Operations Manager at DISTINCT is responsible for:

  1. Developing and implementing operational strategies and procedures.
  2. Managing day-to-day operations, including production, logistics, and supply chain management.
  3. Ensuring that all operational processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  4. Managing relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other external partners.
  5. Monitoring, Management, and Audit of SOPs and systems used in the company.
  6. Update and maintain DISTINCT SOP Intranet.
  7. Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
  8. Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
  9. Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
  10. Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.
  11. Overseeing the recruitment process to attract the best candidates and reduce employee turnover
  12. Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale with all staff
  13. Evaluating company performance and recommend strategies to improve results
  14. Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  15. Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
  16. Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
  17. Support worker communication with the management team.
  18. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
