About the Role: The Production Planner is responsible for driving the master production schedule for our Louisville metal poster manufacturing facility. In this role, you will balance incoming customer orders, raw metal substrate inventory, printing capacity, and packaging throughput to ensure seamless plant operations and timely global dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, monitor, and adjust daily and weekly master production schedules for all metal printing, mounting, and packaging lines.
  • Analyze production capacity, machine efficiency (sublimation/UV printers, metal cutters), and labor availability to eliminate workflow bottlenecks.
  • Monitor raw material inventory levels (metal sheets, mounting magnets, packaging materials, inks) and coordinate with supply chain to prevent line stoppages.
  • Collaborate daily with Production Supervisors and Shipping/Logistics to prioritize high-volume or rush order batches.
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including schedule adherence, yield rates, and on-time order fulfillment.


Essential Job Functions & Duty Disclosure: Physical Demands: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to walk the manufacturing floor regularly (up to 2–3 miles per day in a non-climate-controlled plant environment). Work Environment: Office and manufacturing floor settings. Exposure to production noise, moving mechanical machinery, and print shop equipment.
