The Role:

We are seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to create and manage email campaigns that enhance customer engagement and support our marketing goals. This is a unique opportunity to bring creativity and expertise to a fast-paced, growing company with a dynamic, young team. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and collaborates with an SEO Manager and Digital Marketing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Email Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread engaging emails for promotional campaigns, newsletters, and lead nurturing.
• Email List Management: Build, maintain, and secure email lists to ensure data integrity and effective segmentation.
• Campaign Design: Design visually appealing, mobile-optimized emails, including graphics for maximum impact.
• Automation & Optimization: Use email marketing tools to automate campaigns, conduct A/B testing, and optimize performance.
• Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and unsubscribe rates to improve campaign effectiveness continuously.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports for management, offering insights on performance and areas for improvement.
• Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new strategies to keep Dirt Legal at the forefront of email marketing.
• Collaboration: Partner with copywriters, design leads, and the broader marketing team to ensure cohesive and compelling brand messaging.
• Re-Engagement Campaigns: Launch campaigns targeting inactive subscribers to either win them back or clean the email list.

Qualifications:

• 1–5 years of experience as an email marketer.
• Experience in e-commerce and/or service-related consumer products.
• Proven expertise in building and managing HTML email campaigns.
• Experience with CRM and other tools such as GoHighLevel, Insightly, Shopify (highly preferred).
• Experience with A/B testing and data-driven email marketing strategies.
• Strong understanding of email privacy laws and best practices (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred).
