We’re looking for a Strategic Account Manager who can drive our media accounts forward through deep relationship management, scope management, and the ability to make strategic media recommendations. You'll be the connective tissue between the client and our internal media specialists, helping ensure we deliver high-quality work that aligns with what the client needs, not just what they ask for. A successful candidate is well organized, an expert expectation setter, and loves thinking deeply about media strategy.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trusted relationships rooted in clarity, confidence, and candor

Translate media strategy into plain language, helping clients understand the "why" behind our recommendations

Protect scope and value. Proactively identify when asks exceed what’s been agreed to, and help guide clients toward the right path forward

Lead strategic check-ins, not just status updates. Each client touchpoint should reinforce strategic alignment and forward momentum
- Partner with channel leads (programmatic, paid social, linear, etc.) to ensure client priorities are clearly communicated and campaign outcomes are delivered
- Review and help prep client deliverables (dashboards, performance recaps, media plans) with a sharp eye for storytelling and strategic insight
- Identify new growth opportunities or upsell paths that align with client needs and agency capacity
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement. Help us build systems that make client communication smoother and more scalable
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5+ years of experience in a media agency or client-facing strategy/account role
- Strong understanding of digital media channels (CTV, programmatic, paid social, SEM, etc.) and the technical means of how they are measured. You don’t need to be a buyer, but you do need to speak the language and not be afraid to take meaningful calls with media vendors, along with comfortability jumping into a DSP and ad manager account
- Exceptional communication and emotional intelligence. You can deliver tough messages with grace and maintain trust
- Confident presenter and facilitator. You know how to lead a meeting and keep it productive whether it’s with the brand manager or the CEO
- A strategic mind. You see patterns, ask good questions, and push for clarity
- Organized and proactive. You don’t wait for instructions, you stay one step ahead
- Strong project management skills. You’re comfortable keeping a team to task and are highly organized in maintaining deadlines within a project management system
- Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams and clients across time zones
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience working with consumer and QSR brands
- Have helped build or scale account management systems in a fast-growing boutique agency
- Are familiar with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and CRM integrations
- Bring a POV on how media can be a force for good
- Have experience with billing and managing your clients’ budgets
