We are currently seeking a Software Install Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining software applications or systems within our organization. You will work closely with other teams to ensure that software installations and configurations are aligned with our organizational goals and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure software applications or systems according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Test software to ensure it functions properly and meets quality standards. Conduct functional, performance, and security testing.
• Identify and resolve software issues as they arise. Diagnose problems, research solutions, and implement fixes.
• Provide technical support to end-users and other stakeholders who need assistance with software applications or systems. Answer questions, provide guidance, and resolve issues.
• Maintain documentation related to software installations, configurations, and troubleshooting. Keep records of software versions, configurations, and changes in Zoho or other designated platforms.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as development teams and IT teams, to ensure software installations and configurations are aligned with organizational goals and standards.
• Stay informed about changes and updates to software applications and systems and ensure that software installations and configurations are updated accordingly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with operating systems, database management systems, and networking.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Certifications in software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting are a plus.
