Diggers Cove is a brand-new indoor sand play destination opening in Plano, Texas, where kids can dig, build, and explore in a clean, safe, and imagination-first environment. We blend classic sand play with interactive, augmented-reality experiences to create a place families love to return to for open play, birthday parties, and field trips. As we prepare to open our doors, we are building a warm, energetic team that loves making kids smile and helping families create lasting memories. Type: Full-time, at-will (W-2)

Hours: ~38 hrs/week, 5 days across Mon–Sun (includes weekends)

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00/hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do

• Open and/or close the center: unlock, set up, count and reconcile the cash drawer, secure the building at end of day.
• Lead the floor team on shift - assign stations, set the pace, and step in wherever you're needed.
• Run the front desk and POS (Square): admissions, memberships, snack/drink sales, and refunds.
• Own day-to-day safety: enforce play-area rules, monitor capacity, complete waivers, and respond calmly to incidents.
• Keep the center clean and stocked - bathrooms, play equipment, snack counter and party rooms.
• Manage the schedule and time clock in Homebase; cover gaps and handle call-outs.
• Handle guest questions and resolve complaints with a friendly, solutions-first attitude.
• Help coordinate birthday parties, field trips and group bookings.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year in retail, food service, hospitality or childcare, ideally with some lead or shift-supervisor experience.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable being the responsible adult in the room.
• Confident with POS & operational systems, basic transaction handling and simple math.
• Warm and patient with kids and parents; calm under pressure.
• Available weekends and some evenings.
• Must be 18 or older and pass a background check.

Physical Requirements

Able to stand and move for full shifts, climb into play structures if needed, and lift up to 30 lbs.
