Description
Diamond Rock Flooring Inc. is currently hiring for the position of Polishing or Epoxy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation and maintenance of various flooring materials. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the preparation of floors for installation by removing old flooring materials and cleaning the surface
- Support the installation of different types of flooring, including hardwood, carpet, tile, and laminate
- Utilize tools and equipment required for flooring installation, such as saws, nail guns, and adhesive applicators
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet high-quality standards
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in flooring installation is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of following instructions accurately
