Overview

Diamond Image LLC is looking for a reliable and experienced Sheetrock & Painter to join our renovation team. This role involves drywall installation, finishing, patchwork repairs, and interior painting across residential renovation and property improvement projects. Work includes flips, multifamily units, investor properties, and maintenance upgrades.

Responsibilities

Drywall / Sheetrock

• Hang drywall (walls & ceilings)
• Tape, mud, and sand seams
• Install Durock and moisture-resistant board in bathrooms
• Patch holes and repair damaged walls
• Match existing textures when needed
• Prep surfaces for paint-ready finish

Painting

• Interior wall and ceiling painting
• Trim, doors, and baseboard painting
• Priming surfaces properly before finish coats
• Clean line cutting and detail work
• Protect floors and surrounding finishes
• Maintain clean job sites

Qualifications

Preferred:

• 2+ years drywall and painting experience
• Ability to tape and finish to Level 4 finish standard
• Experience working in renovation environments
• Comfortable working independently or with a crew
• Reliable transportation
• Own basic drywall/painting tools

Bonus (not required):

• Texture matching experience
• Bathroom prep (cement board / waterproofing familiarity)
• Light carpentry skills
