Clinical, Scientific & Medical Affairs Leadership
- Serve as a clinical ambassador and subject-matter expert for the DermaSensor solution, its clinical application and workflow integration with primary and specialty care practices spanning settings such as concierge medicine, solo providers and large academic institutions
- Lead and support real-world evidence (RWE) generation, including investigator-initiated studies, post-market research and registries
- Support development of peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, posters and scientific presentations
- Represent DermaSensor at dermatology congresses, industry conferences, advisory boards and scientific forums
- Serve as company liaison with the DermaSensor Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) of distinguished leaders in the dermatology and primary care medical communities
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Join in-person and virtual customer meetings, site visits and advisory boards
- Support commercial teams with clinical education, scientific presentations and customer-facing resources to support revenue growth
- Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchange with primary care physicians, dermatologists, academic investigators and key opinion leaders
- Engage with health plan medical directors and support market access efforts generally, e.g. obtaining medical society support
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Commercial (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Market Access), Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Product and Data Science team members to achieve business goals
- Translate complex dermatology data and literature into clear, concise clinical narratives and visuals to drive clinician adoption and ongoing utilization
- Support the development of medical education, training programs and evidence-based messaging that makes the DermaSensor solution integral to routine patient care
Pipeline & Solution Expansion
- Provide voice-of-customer insights and clinical input into product roadmap enhancements
- Advise executive leadership on next-generation solution strategy, clinical applications and evidence-based plans
- Support the ex-US commercial expansion strategy and plans
Qualifications and Experience
- MD or DO with minimum 5 years of post-training clinical practice
- Dermatology training or significant dermatology-focused clinical experience
- Industry experience in medical device, digital health, connected health or AI-driven clinical solutions
- Strong working knowledge of skin lesion assessment, biopsy decision-making, referral pathways and skin cancer management
- Strategic thinker who understands physician practice constraints, economics and workflow realities
- Ability to establish credibility and trust with experienced dermatologists, researchers and payer medical leaders
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Clinical research and real-world evidence generation
- Medical writing and publication
- Medical education and scientific exchange
- Coding, coverage and payment processes
- Health economics or reimbursement
- AI / ML applications in dermatology or diagnostics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative, low-ego partner with a bias toward action
