Description

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our doctors and ensuring a smooth, comfortable experience for our patients. You’ll assist with clinical procedures, maintain a sterile and organized environment, and provide excellent chairside support while creating a positive and professional atmosphere. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operatory and instruments for dental procedures
  • Assist the dentist during a wide variety of procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, and implant surgeries
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
  • Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
  • Maintain accurate patient records and charting
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions
  • Support front desk when needed with scheduling and patient communication
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical space at all times 

Qualifications:

  • Dental Assistant certification (preferred, not required)
  • X-ray certification in the State of Michigan
  • Minimum of 1 year of chairside experience preferred, but new graduates with the right attitude are welcome
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology and instruments
  • Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills

Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available. Office hours are Monday through Friday with some flexibility. 

Salary

$16 - $20 per hour
