DASS seeks talented, hard-working, and organized Campaign Managers for Secretary of State Races in the 2024 cycle.

Description

The Campaign Manager will be tasked with overseeing every aspect of the race for Secretary of State on the ground through 2024.


The Campaign Manager, in partnership with relevant consultants, advisors and team members, will develop, implement, and manage the campaign plan.


Duties include, but are not limited to:  

  • Staff hiring and management various departments, such as finance and communications
  • Handling of consultant communications and deliverables 
  • Drafting and execution of strategic plan for the campaign (in conjunction with consultants and other advisors)
  • Budgeting & cashflow
  • Political outreach 
  • Manage a team
  • Other tasks as necessary


Requirements

Ideal candidates will have at least one cycle as a Campaign Manager or two cycles as a Senior or Junior level campaign staffer in a race of similar size, scope and budget. 


Candidates with significant experience managing staff or principles are strongly encouraged to apply. 


Additional sought after qualities: 

  • Prior experience with budgeting, cashflow, scheduling, fundraising, communications, organizing, political outreach, and consultant management of paid communications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, NGPVAN, Numero, or other similar donor database experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions
