About the Role

We are actively expanding and welcome professionals who are passionate about site development, stormwater management, and sustainable infrastructure. We are seeking a project engineer with 5-10 years of experience in land development design to join our team. As a key member of the land design team, you will manage design projects from start to finish, working closely with our team of engineers. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in Washington DC and Northern Virginia.


Responsibilities

  • Lead complex civil engineering design projects.
  • Manage project design and ensure quality control.
  • Communicate with clients and plan reviewers.
  • Prepare design drawings and calculations.
  • Design stormwater management practices.
  • Conduct code research and write specifications.
  • Ensure project design meets regulatory requirements.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Designation required. PE License preferred.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

$80,000 - $95,000 per year
