DemandMaven, Inc Paid Ads Specialist (Contractor) Remote · Part time

The Paid Ads Specialist will manage and oversee PPC campaigns, mainly Google Ads, for a variety of SaaS clients.

This role will focus mostly on Google Ad campaigns, however experience with other Paid Ad channels is a plus.

DemandMaven also works with early-stage SaaS companies on their go-to-market strategies and finding product-market fit.

Location: Remote

Hours: 10-15/week

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing optimization and management of PPC campaigns for multiple clients at one time
  • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, audience targeting, daily and monthly budgets, impressions and other key metrics for each account
  • Conduct keyword research, create and manage keyword lists
  • Optimize campaigns for conversions and KPI’s
  • Provide creative and copy suggestions (a plus if you can design and create ad graphics)
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword and audience opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, etc. that align with the client’s goals
  • Perform audits of existing Ad accounts and provide recommendations to the client
  • Generate client reporting for all major metrics within the Ad accounts
  • Follow search engine and PPC best practices and industry trends
  • Work closely and collaborate with other team members to meet client goals
  • Communicate project timelines, development and results to the team and clients

About You

Must Haves:

  • 4+ years experience in Search Engine Marketing and Paid Search (PPC)
  • At least 2 years managing Google Ads campaigns specifically
  • Managed Ad budgets of at least $10k per month
  • A passion for search and internet marketing
  • Experience with analytics and reporting tools, including Google Analytics
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on several projects at one time
  • A data driven and analytics approach to problem solving
  • Ability to communicate (both written and orally) your strategies and reasoning to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to learn new industries and business types quickly and apply this knowledge to paid campaign initiatives
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a remote environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Serious Bonus Points:

  • You’ve managed Google Ads for a small to medium sized SaaS company before
  • You’ve worked at a digital marketing agency before
  • You have 2+ Google Ads certifications


  • $60-$80/hour, based on skills and years of experience
