Reporting directly to the Business Group Controller the Accounting Lead oversees the accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The Accounting Lead ensures accurate financial management and provides insights to support business goals.
Primary Responsibilities
● Oversee and maintain the company's general ledger using QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
● Perform month-end closing processes, including preparation and presentation of financial statements for management review
● Manage payroll accounting, maintain payroll records, and process bi-weekly payroll for all employees.
● Calculate monthly commissions accurately and in a timely manner.
● Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
● Conduct and record month-end inventory adjustments to reflect accurate stock levels.
● Conduct ad hoc analyses and partner with management to support informed business decision-making.
● Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure streamlined and effective processes.
● Coordinate with senior leaders to verify the accuracy of financial data for tax compliance and reporting.
● Oversee cash flow management, including accounts receivable collections and accounts payable disbursements
● Calculate quarterly bonuses using designated management templates.
● Oversee office administration and supervise and manage the work of the administrative assistant.
● Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field or a combination of education and experience
● Minimum of five years’ experience in accounting and finance
● At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
● QuickBooks certification is preferred

● Proficient in QuickBooks Online with a deep understanding of its features and functionalities
● Skilled in using Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams
