Duties and Responsibilities:
- Treat all fellow employees with respect.
- Show up to work on time and ready for work.

- Read and interpret engineering documents. Bills of Materials and P&IDs.
- Effective communication across multiple platforms between vendors and DeJong personnel.
- Follow established processes and procedures set in place.
- Navigate file structure and file paperwork in the proper folder.
- Effectively navigate the different programs DeJong Operations has in place. Outlook, Microsoft word/excel, Fishbowl, Xero.
- Interpret project timelines and material availability to determine the proper measures needed to get material and equipment delivered.
- Operate forklift to be able to unload/load shipments, move equipment and material.
- Package and palletize equipment, raw material, and fittings properly to ensure secure transportation.
- Label, check-in, and stage items designated to each specific project.
- Ability to drive truck and trailer.
- Deliver and pick up items from local vendors.
- Complete tasks in the most efficient way without compromising quality.
- Being self-motivated with instructions given from the lead/supervisor.
- Working well with a team with minimal supervision.
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to travel onsite 5% of the time.
- Ensure the working environment is clean and safe.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Refrain from sharing sensitive DeJong Operation information outside our internal employee network.
Education and Work Experience:
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal personnel.
- Must be able to maintain composure when under pressure and work with a team to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive, professional attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Must be a self-managing individual that will take ownership of assigned project.
- Minimum: High school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to stand for up to 8-12 hours a day.
- Ability to walk, climb ladders, bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds in an industrial plant.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly in person or via phone.
