About the Role:
The Growth & Strategy Consultant is hired within Decimal.Health and primarily focused on supporting initiatives across AccelerOnc Studio. This role plays a dual role supporting both strategy engagements and commercial growth initiatives for AccelerOnc Studio and studio assets. This individual leads day-to-day project execution for startup, health system, pharmaceutical, and Fortune 500 clients while also supporting top-of-funnel business development activities that help generate new opportunities for the firm.
This role collaborates closely with VP, Venture Growth & Marketing leadership while supporting research, synthesis, and development of client deliverables. In addition, the Associate supports outbound prospecting, qualification of opportunities, CRM tracking, and early-stage client engagement activities similar to a Business Development Representative (BDR) / Sales Development Representative (SDR) role.
Consultants serve as a key connector between research, strategy, client engagement, and growth, helping translate insights into both client deliverables and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Client Engagement
- Own day-to-day project management, slide deck development and coordination of deliverable completion
- Develop and execute primary and secondary research plans on strategic, commercial, competitor and market analysis topics
- Coordinate and lead client, customer, provider and thought leader interviews
- Conduct qualitative, quantitative and financial data analysis
- Lead development of client deliverables, including slide decks, reports, protocols and other types of presentations as required for clients
- Interface with clients and own coordination and scheduling of client meetings and presentation
- Develop thought leadership materials including white papers, blog posts and other research materials
Business Development & Pipeline Generation
- Support top-of-funnel business development activities to identify and engage potential clients across health systems, digital health companies, and healthcare industry partners
- Conduct targeted outreach to prospective clients through email, LinkedIn, conferences, and referrals
- Research target accounts and identify key stakeholders, decision-makers, and buying signals
- Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities and help determine fit with Decimal.health services
- Schedule and support introductory client calls, discovery conversations, and early-stage meetings
- Maintain accurate records of prospect activity, outreach, and pipeline progression in CRM systems
- Support development of sales materials, introductory presentations, and opportunity briefs
- Monitor market signals and industry developments that may generate new client opportunities
- Collaborate with Growth leadership on account prioritization, campaign targeting, and pipeline development
Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate internal project workflows and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of client work
- Assist with internal strategic initiatives and special projects supporting company growth
- Collaborate with marketing and growth teams on thought leadership and outreach initiatives
- Support conference preparation, industry engagement, and relationship development
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Sciences, Social sciences, Economics, Health Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience working in a health care setting, management consulting or investment banking
- Strong understanding of the US healthcare system, payment models and digital health landscape
- Strong project management experience, demonstrated ability to set objectives to align with broader organizational goals, breaking down objectives into timelines and milestones, anticipating obstacles and developing contingency plans
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

- Strong critical, strategic thinking and analytical skills
