About Dealer Merchandising

Dealer Merchandising partners with automotive dealerships to transform underutilized showroom space into profitable retail environments. We design, merchandise, launch, and manage dealership retail stores that create meaningful customer experiences while generating incremental revenue. We're building a company of self-starting individuals who take ownership, solve problems independently, and move quickly. If you enjoy creating order from complexity, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and seeing physical spaces come to life, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and review standard SKU launch lists for all new stores across each OEM
  • Participate in all dealer onboarding calls to ensure aligned vision across sales, account management, product, and fixtures
  • Partner with account managers to align on dealer-specific SKU change requests
  • Source unique SKU requests as they arise from individual dealers
  • Update dealer-specific planograms based on unique SKU requests
  • Manage first-time product ordering, including quantities, timing, and vendor coordination to ensure products reach dealers on time.
  • Regularly evaluate the product portfolio in conjunction with our Sourcing Team and Business Performance Team to introduce new, high-margin, trend-forward merchandise while retiring underperforming SKUs.
  • Attend trade shows, monitor industry publications, social media, and competitor retailers to be able to speak to industry brands and products.
  • Negotiate with vendors on pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times, and exclusive products to maximize profitability and differentiation.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in retail operations, merchandising, product management, or a similar cross-functional role
  • Experience managing SKU lists, product assortments, or planograms across multiple locations or partners
  • Comfort participating in calls with external partners (dealers, vendors, or clients) alongside internal stakeholders
  • Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple store launches and timelines simultaneously
  • Experience with product ordering and vendor coordination, including managing timing and quantities for first-time orders
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets); experience with planogram or PLM software a plus
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with comfort collaborating remotely across sales, account management, and product teams
  • A self-starter mindset — comfortable owning ambiguous or evolving responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $70,000 per year
  • Fully remote position
  • 3 weeks paid vacation and 2 weeks paid sick time annually, granted January 1 and prorated for mid-year hires

  • 401(k) account with company match
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage available from day one
