Job Overview: 

  

As a Tree Climber Specialist, you'll be at the core of our operations, utilizing sophisticated climbing and rigging techniques to safely prune and remove trees. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a strong emphasis on safety, and a deep dedication to sustainable and ethical tree care practices. 

  

Key Responsibilities: 

  

• Execute advanced tree climbing and rigging techniques for tree pruning and removal. 
• Implement proper pruning practices tailored to various tree species, prioritizing health, aesthetics, and safety. 
• Accurately identify and assess the condition of diverse tree species. 
• Maintain and inspect climbing gear, chainsaws, and other tree care equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency. 
• Adhere to and promote rigorous safety standards and practices throughout all tree care operations. 
• Operate specialized equipment, including chainsaws and aerial lifts, with expertise. 
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients, offering knowledgeable advice and service. 
• Participate in emergency tree care and storm damage response as needed. 

 

Qualifications: 

  

• Demonstrated experience in professional tree climbing and arboricultural practices. 
• Proficiency in the use of chainsaws, climbing gear, and other tree care equipment. 
• Solid knowledge of tree biology, health assessment, and pruning techniques. 
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket trucks) is advantageous. 
• Ability to work in diverse outdoor conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. 
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with industry standards and techniques.
