Dave’s Famous Cheesesteaks is seeking energetic, dependable, and customer-focused team members to help operate all aspects of our fast-paced restaurant. We are hiring for Cashiers, Cooks, Prep Workers, and Cross-Trained Team Members who are willing to learn multiple positions and contribute to a positive guest experience.

General Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare food orders accurately and consistently
• Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging as needed
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Follow company procedures, recipes, and quality standards
• Maintain punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude

Cashier Duties

• Greet customers and take food orders accurately
• Operate the POS system and handle cash/card transactions
• Answer customer questions regarding menu items and specials
• Package orders for dine-in, takeout, and delivery services
• Maintain a clean and organized front counter and dining area

Cook Duties

• Prepare cheesesteaks, fries, wings, and other menu items according to company standards
• Operate grills, fryers, and kitchen equipment safely
• Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
• Ensure ticket times and food preparation standards are met

Prep Worker Duties

• Prepare ingredients including vegetables, sauces, meats, and other food items
• Portion and label products according to food safety guidelines
• Assist with inventory organization and stock rotation
• Keep prep and storage areas clean and sanitary
• Support cooks and front-of-house staff during busy periods

Cross-Trained Team Members

• Learn and assist in multiple positions throughout the restaurant
• Support front counter, kitchen, prep, cleaning, and customer service operations
• Adapt quickly to business needs and assist management as needed

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
