Key In-Home Caregiver Duties:

• Personal Care (ADLs): Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene to maintain skin health and comfort.
• Mobility and Safety: Helping with transferring (bed to chair), walking, and fall prevention.
• Medication Reminders: Providing medication, reminders, and monitoring safety while taking, though generally not directly administering medication.
• Nutrition and Meal Prep: Planning, shopping for, and cooking nutritious meals, or heating pre-made meals.
• Light Housekeeping: Cleaning, laundry, washing dishes, and maintaining a tidy, safe home environment.
• Transportation and Errands: Driving to doctor appointments, pharmacy visits, or grocery shopping.
• Companionship and Emotional Support:Engaging in conversation, hobbies, walks, and providing a safe, empathetic environment to reduce loneliness.
