Dallas Therapeutic Services is a thriving private psychotherapy and psychological testing practice located in the Las Colinas area of Irving, TX. We are seeking to hire full-time therapists for in-office and telehealth sessions. Full-time therapists must be available for at least 28 client sessions per week with an average of 25 of those being billable; therapists are also paid for additional administrative time.

Description

Responsibilities of the Full Time Clinician:


  • Client Care and Therapy Sessions
  • Conduct a minimum of 23 therapy sessions per week, unless otherwise discussed [expectation upon reaching full caseload].
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions, adapting evidence-based approaches under supervision to address clients' unique needs and goals.
  • Perform assessments and develop treatment plans, with supervisor guidance, that address clients' mental health concerns.
  • Create a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to share their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
  • If a psychologist, administer Psychological Assessments: Conduct standardized cognitive, personality, and behavioral tests under the guidance of a licensed psychologist. Test Scoring and Data Entry: Accurately score assessments and input data into electronic records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. Maintain Testing Environment: Set up and organize testing materials, ensuring a comfortable and distraction-free environment for clients. Client Interaction and Support: Communicate test instructions clearly and support clients throughout the testing process, answering any questions within scope. Report Preparation: Assist in the preliminary preparation of client reports by organizing data and summarizing test scores for psychologist review.Compliance and Quality Control: Follow ethical and procedural guidelines in test administration and scoring to maintain high standards in client care and data reliability.
  • Treatment Planning and Intervention
  • Collaborate with clients to set treatment goals and monitor progress.
  • Apply various therapeutic modalities, emphasizing evidence-based practices, with guidance.
  • Regularly assess client progress, adjusting strategies in collaboration with the supervisor to enhance treatment efficacy.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records, including session notes, assessments, and treatment plans, in compliance with organizational and ethical standards.
  • Ensure all documentation is reviewed by your supervisor.
  • Collaborative and Ethical Practice
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals when coordinating care, under supervisor oversight.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards as set forth by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) or relevant licensing body, seeking supervisor guidance for ethical decision-making as needed.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including regular individual and group supervision sessions with your clinical supervisor.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and in-service training as part of your growth as a clinician.
  • Seek consultation or supervision in challenging cases and crisis interventions to build skills in effective clinical responses.

Salary

$30 - $50 per hour
