We’re looking for a dependable person to join our team as a Crating & Production Assembly Associate. You’ll help assemble panels, build crates, protect finished products for shipment, and support our shipping and receiving department. No prior experience with our specific production processes is required. If you enjoy hands-on work and are willing to learn, we’ll provide training. Pay: $20–$24 per hour, based on experience.

Description

What You'll Do

Crating and Shipping and Receiving

•Build and assemble crates and securely pack panels and components for shipment

•Assist with loading and unloading shipments, receiving materials, and organizing inventory

•Check incoming and outgoing materials for damage, verify quantities, and report discrepancies

•Label and stage finished crates and shipments according to shipping instructions

Panel Assembly

•Assemble panels and subcomponents using provided diagrams and specs

•Apply adhesives and operate a heated press as part of the production process

•Accurately measure materials using a millimeter tape measure

•Support panel production on our automated glue and assembly line, including material loading, monitoring panel flow, and unloading panels according to training and work instructions

Safety & Quality

•Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE — every shift, no exceptions

•Perform quality checks on your completed work and flag anything that doesn't look right

Teamwork & Communication

•Work alongside your team across projects and help each other stay on track

•Keep your Operations Manager in the loop on shift status, issues, or ideas

What We're Looking For

• Dependable attendance and the ability to arrive ready to begin your 7:00 AM shift

• Attention to detail and comfort with hands-on assembly, packing, and material handling

• Composite or steel-toed safety boots

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow

• Forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements

This is an active, on-your-feet manufacturing role. You should be comfortable with the following:

• Standing and walking for up to 8 hours per shift

• Reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching regularly

• Lifting and moving objects safely up to 50 lbs

• Repetitive hand and arm motions — grasping, assembling, manipulating parts

• Using both manual and powered tools as needed

• Working in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, dust, and temperature

variation
