Business Development Representative Role:

D&M Allied is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and collaborative BDR to facilitate the buying and selling of transportation and operational equipment. The BDR will work closely with the business development manager to generate leads, collect equipment specifications, analyze equipment value and condition, and assist in closing deals.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Proactively identify and generate high-quality leads for purchasing transportation and operational equipment, contributing to the company's growth and success.

2. Collaborate with internal teams to gather comprehensive equipment specifications, ensuring accurate and detailed information is available for decision-making processes.

3. Conduct thorough analyses of equipment value, worth, and condition, providing expert insights to guide strategic purchasing decisions.

4. Work closely with the Head of Sales to successfully close deals, demonstrating strong negotiation skills and a customer-centric approach.


Evaluation Metrics:

  • Annual net deals purchased quota
  • Monthly quota of exploratory or continuing prospective calls


Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a role (preferably in a startup environment)
  • Responsible for client engagement, sourcing, strategic thinking, and collaboration
  • Strong cultural fit with our operating principles
  • Insatiable curiosity and willingness to learn
