Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 per year (Full-time, based on experience, base + production)

Job Overview:

Cuyamaca Animal Hospital is seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in providing high-quality, Fear Free care to our patients. As a privately owned practice, we prioritize building strong relationships with both our clients and their beloved pets. We are looking for a veterinarian who is committed to excellence in veterinary medicine and who shares our values of compassion, integrity, and professionalism.

Our practice has 3 RVTs, 2 dental suites, a comfort suite, separate feline friendly areas (lobby, exam, and treatment room) and state of the art in-house laboratory equipment (Zoetis Imagyst, Idexx)

Responsibilities:

• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical procedures
• Develop treatment plans and communicate effectively with clients about their pet's health
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care
• Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California
• Strong surgical skills preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards both animals and clients
• Interest in treating rabbits and rodents considered a plus
