Job Title: Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Reports To: Owner or Clinical Supervisor


Summary:

Responsible for providing behavioral health and treatment services to individuals seeking mental health support. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy services to meet the needs of clients. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical standards and licensure requirements.


Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct initial evaluation and assessment interviews with clients upon admission, making recommendations for treatment and referrals as needed.

2. Develop individualized treatment plans and update them as necessary to address clients' needs.

3. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, as well as crisis intervention services when required.

4. Document all clinical service delivery within 24 hours of client contact, ensuring compliance with HIPPA and Medicaid/Medicare guidelines.

5. Maintain accurate records of client interactions to meet organizational accounting and statistical requirements.

6. Manage a caseload of clients to meet productivity expectations.

7. Attend staff meetings for communication, consultation, and training purposes.

8. Coordinate clinical services with other programs and medical services to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

9. Adhere to professional, certification, and ethical standards, maintaining current licensure in good standing with the licensure board.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

- Master's degree in a related field

- Current licensure in the state of New York

- Strong commitment to service, personal excellence, and teamwork

- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations


Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands. Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and team members.

Salary

$65 - $65 per hour
