Introduction

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team on a part-time contract basis. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our various projects. Your primary focus will be on executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with the development team to ensure timely resolutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, exemplary written communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Your Role

• Responsible for establishing and enhancing Crush & Lovely's QA process
• Ensuring seamless functionality across various platforms and browsers
• Devising and implementing efficient workflows and procedures for QA
• Recommend cutting-edge tools to optimize efficiency and elevate quality
• Thoroughly review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, offering timely and insightful feedback
• Craft detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Effectively estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Develop and execute automation scripts for streamlined testing processes
• Identify, record, and meticulously document bugs while continuously tracking their progress
• Conduct comprehensive regression testing upon bug resolution
• Collaborate with our internal team to discern and meet system requirements
• Remain up-to-date with the latest testing tools and innovative test strategies

Who we're looking for

• 5+ years of proven experience in QA, adept in both manual and automated testing
• Proficient in conducting accessibility testing following WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards to ensure inclusive and user-friendly digital experiences for all users.
• Proficient in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and Jira defect reports
• Extensive hands-on experience in testing across various browsers, operating systems, and devices
• Well-versed in Agile/Scrum development methodologies, thriving in fast-paced environments
• Proficiently skilled in using cutting-edge QA tools
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and responsibility for deliverables, consistently meeting internal and client deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
