Crush & Lovely is seeking a React Engineer to join our team in a contract role. You’ll be working with our team to develop new web applications for our clients. This is a remote position with the expectation of availability between 11am - 6pm ET

Your Role

• Collaborate with our Product Managers, UX Designers, Visual Designers, and API Engineers to reach the best possible version of a product to bring to market
• Build components and  screens based on designs created by our design team that are cross-platform compatible and accessible
• Work with QA engineers to validate work that's been done and fix issues that are found
• Integrate with APIs to connect UIs to back-end systems

Who We're Looking For

• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in front-end UI development and building custom-designed interfaces with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with at least 4 years experience using React
• Familiarity with CSS-to-JS libraries like Styled Components or Emotion
• Someone who knows the latest trends and technologies in the CSS and JavaScript ecosystems, and is excited about creating immersive experiences
• Experience with design systems and creating efficient, reusable component libraries
• Expertise creating accessible interfaces built to at least WCAG 2.1 A or AA standards
• Clear communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to interact thoughtfully with a diverse group of people
• Experience working in an Agile environment, and the ability to follow established development processes, to create technical specifications, and to document your code
• BONUS: Experience leveraging React Query to manage remote state in an application
• BONUS: Experience using Next.js for server-side rendering
