Accounting Specialist

The Role

As a part time Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our finance team by handling various accounting tasks. You will ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely, supporting our commitment to transparency and integrity in our financial operations.

What You'll Do

- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.

- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies as they arise.

- Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.

- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and procedures.

- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on accounts payable and receivable.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
