The Accounting Manager will engage regularly with our clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering strong professional relationships. In addition to client interaction, they will mentor and guide our emerging managers, helping them develop their skills and advance in their careers. By building strong client relationships and leveraging modern accounting technology, they deliver personalized service and strategic advice, ultimately helping clients navigate complex tax landscapes effectively.

Description

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financials for business clients before the 25th of each month

• Maintain key performance indicators for dental clients

• Analyze the financials & email clients about their respective businesses

• Address any client questions & issues in a timely manner

• Correspond with clients’ payroll, financial advisor, attorney, and TPA as needed

• Assist with preparation of 1099’s

• Assist with preparation of business tax returns

• Mentor & train new staff members as additional staff is hired

• Research topics as needed

• Develop an expertise in the dental business model

• Onboard new clients as needed (i.e. setup bookkeeping, client notes, etc.)


Crossroads Tax Advisors expects you to fulfill these duties to your best abilities with the highest standard of care & ethics. Any communication with clients or business partners is expected to be in a professional & timely manner. We strive to address any client emails or phone calls within a 24-hour timeframe.


Qualifications

• Two-year or four-year degree in business, accounting or related field preferred

• Minimum of five years' experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role required; prior experience with QuickBooks Online preferred

• Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

• Comfortable working in a technology-forward environment

• Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

• Teachable, desire to learn, and able to learn new tasks quickly

• Commitment to honesty, trustworthiness and high ethical standards

• Able to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines
