Role Overview:

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, client-facing environment? We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to deliver top-tier accounting services across a diverse portfolio of industries. In this role, you will partner closely with our Accounting Managers to drive financial operations, manage complex transactions, and provide strategic value to our clients.


The ideal candidate blends solid operational and technical accounting expertise with exceptional communication skills. You will own various areas of the accounting cycle for a variety of businesses, requiring both strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Complex Accounting: Lead complex reconciliations, including inventory, deferred revenue, and payroll accruals.
  • Ensure Accuracy: Conduct comprehensive monthly reviews of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure pinpoint accuracy and compliance.
  • Support Compliance & Audits: Drive local compliance efforts (including 1099 filings) and assist the Controller/Accounting Manager with tax, audit, and due diligence requests.
  • Drive Consistency: Maintain and standardize consistent accounting policies and procedures across your client portfolio.
  • Client Communication: Manage client correspondence and email workflows, ensuring prompt, professional, and helpful responses.
  • Strategic Partnership: Cultivate a deep understanding of each client's unique business model, team dynamics, and operational needs to better serve them.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3–4+ years of hands-on operational accounting experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or NetSuite, alongside a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Familiarity with inventory management and/or revenue recognition principles.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Bonus Points: Previous experience working within e-commerce, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or SaaS industries is highly preferred.
