Description

Director of Marketing

About Crescendo Education Group:

Crescendo Education Group, LLC was established in 2014 to provide high quality professional learning experiences for educators to make grading more equitable—more accurate, bias-resistant, and intrinsically motivating—for every student. We are seeking a Director of Marketing to join our dynamic team to support schools and districts with the critically important work of improving how teachers grade.

The global pandemic put a bright spotlight on how many common grading practices undermine effective teaching and learning and harm students, particularly those in historically underserved groups. Crescendo Education Group provides services based on a groundbreaking book written by our CEO / Founder Joe Feldman titled Grading for Equity: What It Is, Why It Matters, and How It Can Transform Schools and Classrooms. Our organization has supported approximately 12,000 teachers and hundreds of schools / districts to implement improved grading practices. We have partnered with large districts such as New York City, Chicago Public Schools, and Los Angeles Unified School District, as well as smaller and medium-sized districts, independent schools, charter schools, and colleges and universities throughout the United States. Our mission compels us to continue expanding our reach so every student receives grading that supports effective learning and student success.
